You may be asking yourself, what is a #Realtor Re-Start? Pretty much like it sounds. I think many people in the real estate industry, who have been in it for at least 3 years or more needs to listen up. I mean, I don’t want to discriminate against newbies or younger agents to the industry (young in terms of years in, not age). I still love you all and would love to chat about starting and growing your career with Eagle Realty if you are in the Myrtle Beach, SC area, but this #blog is not targeted at you. I am trying to speak to my realtor professionals who have been in the industry for a while and maybe have come down with the 1 or more of the following symptoms:

  • Sales growth has leveled out
  • Energy and passion has dwindled
  • Tired of being controlled about building your brand under your brokerage brand
  • Tired of paying fees or transactional fees
  • Want to keep more of what you earn
  • Frustrated at not being able to get ahold of your broker or manager
  • Just not happy

Any of these sound familiar? It may mean you need to find a better fit for your real estate career. It may mean you need a re-start. Some real estate agents change companies because they habitually think the grass is greener. That is not what I’m saying. For your career to be better and to truly grow your success, it starts inside you, not in a new company. Once you realize you that, you see the grass is green where you water it (and in fact, most companies have green grass because leadership waters it). You aren’t noticing “green grass” because thats all around you, you are trying to find alignment. It’s not about a better brokerage, it’s about a better fit for you to change the trajectory of your career and attitude.
